The Canadian Association of Perinatal and Women’s Health Nurses (CAPWHN) is a new organization representing women's health, obstetric and newborn nurses from across Canada. CAPWHN aims to promote excellence in nursing practice, leadership, education, and research in the areas of perinatal and women’s health care.

CAPWHN is pleased to promote Events related to perinatal and women's health nursing. There are a few events taking place in the Ontario region that may be of interest. The “Day in Maternity Care Research And Practice” on May25th at McMaster University, and the Champlain Maternal Newborn Regional Program Conference in Ottawa on May 30th and 31st. As always the Forums continue to be active. CAPWHN members can access the Forums through the members only site.
Please plan to attend the 3rd CAPWHN National Conference in Niagara Falls, Ontario from November 21-23, 2013. We received almost 90 abstracts of high caliber and cutting edge Canadian perinatal and women’s health content. Abstract review is underway with letters expected to be sent out the first week of June. Join us in Niagara Falls to experience fabulous networking opportunities with colleagues from across the country, innovative presentations and a fantastic line up of notable keynote speakers!
